I'm really enjoying this class. I have always had an interest in photography and worked for a few years in one hour photo shops. We actually took the time to adjust the colors and make corrections while the pictures were being printed. If they came out and it was obvious that the object was a sunset or a mountain, we could put the negative back in the machine and correct it and reprint it.
Most machines don't seem to be done like that any more.
The thing I'm really enjoying with the digital camera is that the picture is right there, especially if it is a still shot, and you can look at to see if it's good. If it's blurry or just yucky, you can retake the picture with any adjustment you want to make. The thing I find when trying to take moving objects like animals, is that more often than not they come out blurry, where a regular film camera may capture the shot clearly but you won't know until the film is developed whether it's good or not. We have a pretty simple digital camera so the thought of investing is something a little higher in ability, is pretty tempting at this point.
Taking this class has just renewed my interest and passion for photography and the ability to capture unique and unusual shots. I really like the close ups I can get with the digital. I'm having fun and learning alot too.

I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying taking digital shots! You seem to be doing a good job with experimentation...probably the best way to improve your skills! I'm enjoying the examples you're posting to your blog.
