Well, what I thought was the flu, turned out to be a terrible battle of pnuemonia. I'm still trying to get over the darn stuff, with my second round of antibiotics. Still coughing and sniffles and the crud. The cough turned really bad by the fifth day and although the alkaselter flu probably helped me sleep and clear the sinus congestion a bit, it had absolutely no effect on the lungs and chest congestion.
My advice to any one who gets a cough that gets bad quickly, don't wait to see the doc like I did. Get your butt in there before your chest aches with pain and burning and get it checked out.
